EZTAP PETS · ACTIVATION

Activate your Pet Tag.

Six steps, about five minutes. You need your purchase activation code, your phone and a free EZTap Manager account. Finders never need an app — they just tap.

  1. Find your purchase code

    It's in your order confirmation email (or on your market receipt). It looks like PET-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and unlocks one activation per tag you bought.

  2. Sign in to EZTap Manager

    Free account, no pet subscription. Use the browser or add Manager to your home screen.

  3. Redeem your code

    Open Pets → Activate a tag and enter the code once. Your activations are now attached to your account.

  4. Tap your tag

    Hold the Pet Tag to your phone. An unclaimed tag opens a claim page — choose "Claim this tag".

  5. Choose or create a pet profile

    Add your pet's name, photo, contacts and the details a finder should see.

  6. Save and check

    Tap the tag again. If the finder page opens, you're done. Repeat for each tag.

Invalid code

Codes never use the letters O or I. Check for typos, then try again. After too many wrong attempts, redemption pauses for 10 minutes.

Tag already claimed

This tag belongs to another account. If it's yours, sign in with the account that claimed it or contact admin@eztap.net.

No activations left

Every activation from that purchase has been used. Buy more tags or contact us if a tag was claimed by mistake.

Privacy and location

Your home address is never shown on the finder page by default — you choose exactly which contacts and care details appear. If a finder chooses to share where they are, that happens only with their permission, once, at the moment they tap. Pet Tags are NFC identification tags, not GPS trackers, and cannot follow your pet's movements.
